H2O HELIC'O

Firefighting helicopter

BACKGROUND

Passionate about flying, Harald Ellefsen is a private helicopter pilot. He has made a simple observation : no suitable equipment is available in France today that enables a fire at great height and/or difficult to access to be extinguished quickly. The recent events surrounding the fire of Notre-Dame are a striking example of this.

Firefighters and the Civil Security Service currently only have traditional methods and articulated arms at their disposal. For budgeting reasons, this type of project has never been attempted before.

Harald Ellefsen became interested in this issue and is now putting forward plans for the manufacture of a helicopter prototype with a multidirectional hose bye the Association H2O HELIC’O.

Choosen helicopter model :

Dauphin 2 dual turbine (except where a change is necessary)

Explaining the logo

H2O : the chemical symbol for water

H2O : one helicopter / 2 staff members / water

The logo is made up of 3 helicopter blades (H also inside circle like a helipad). It contains the symbol of pilot wings for on-board crew. And lastly there is the play on words with the word HELICO and the droplet of water. (eau means water !).
